Alex Padilla (D Ca) attempted to barge his way into a press briefing being hosted by Kristy Noem, Homeland Security Secretary. Padilla claimed that he wanted to ask the secretary a question. Padilla showed up at the briefing without any identification or invitation and also claimed he was using his power of. He was detained, briefly cuffed and led out of the area.

Wilted Salud

Another congressional member Rep. Salud Carbajal (D Ca) told Pete Hegseth on Thursday that he is an "embarrassment" to the United States and should "get the hell out" of the Department of Defense after the secretary chided the lawmaker for a "silly question" he asked during a House hearing.

The outburst from Rep. Salud Carbajal was immediately followed by a call for decorum as lawmakers from the House Armed Services Committee were questioning Hegseth about the Department of Defense's Fiscal Year 2026 budget request.

Tensions started escalating on Capitol Hill as Carbajal asked Hegseth a series of yes or no questions, beginning with the deployment of the National Guard and U.S. Marines in Los Angeles to quell the unrest generated by anti-ICE protests

No Kings Protests

This weekend marks the debut of the “No Kings Protest”. Slated as grassroots gathering, the events held around the country are funded by over 100 left leaning NGO’s with a specific agenda that claims to be a bipartisan.

Being held during the 250th birthday celebration of the United Staes Army and President Trumps Birthday.

This event also culminates on Flag Day, a celebration of the American flag that occurs each year on June 14, the anniversary of the flag’s official adoption and the weekend of Father’s Day.

"No Kings is a nationwide day of defiance," organizers wrote on their website. "From city blocks to small towns, from courthouse steps to community parks, we’re taking action to reject authoritarianism—and show the world what democracy really looks like. … The flag doesn’t belong to President Trump. It belongs to us. We’re not watching history happen. We’re making it."

It is my opinion as the host of this podcast that this has a possibility to evolve into a violent event that might turn the country into to a Firey tailspin, if it is not already
