Historian Dr. Jody Edward Ginn returned to the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History for the first time since 2012 and says he found a “completely different place.” Ginn argues the museum has shifted from educating visitors toward activism, pointing to changes in its mission, exhibits and what he believes is missing historical context.

New York Post columnist Michael Goodwin takes aim at NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani after his administration dismissed the advisory board of the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City. Goodwin argues Mamdani's ideological approach risks alienating wealthy donors and business leaders whose money and connections have traditionally helped support charitable partnerships with the city.

NEVER BRING A KNIFE TO A FIST FIGHT
Hawaii congressional candidate Isaiah Basin allegedly threatened a 61-year-old man after being asked to turn down his music. Police say a bystander intervened, a fight followed and Basin allegedly pulled a knife and threatened multiple people before throwing it into the ocean. The knife was recovered, and Basin was charged with two counts of first-degree terroristic threatening.
