The Democratic Socialists of America have released their vision for a socialist future. The program calls for a 32-hour workweek with full pay, universal healthcare, free public education, universal rent control, abolishing ICE, eliminating the Senate and Electoral College, replacing the presidency and Supreme Court, and public ownership of major corporations and essential industries.

A U.S. Fish & Wildlife officer deployed a Taser at a man standing beside a gas pump, and seconds later the man was engulfed in flames. The confrontation reportedly followed an earlier trespassing accusation at the Havasu National Wildlife Refuge. Body-camera footage captured the encounter, and Fish & Wildlife says the officer's use of the Taser is under review.
